Store Manager
At Södra Larmgatan, Göteborg
We are now looking for a Store Manager to join our store at Södra Larmgatan, Göteborg.
As a Store Manager at A Day’s March, you will be responsible for the overall success and efficient operation of the store. Serving as one of the biggest ambassadors of the brand, you will lead by example, embodying the company's values and standards.
Your primary focus will be to be on leading and developing a high-performing team, driving sales and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. You will play a pivotal role in managing daily operations, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering a positive work environment to achieve business objectives.
What you'll do
Leadership and team management
- Recruit, train, and develop a motivated and customer-focused team.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets and customer service expectations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Sales and financial management
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales goals.
- Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to drive profitability.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Customer service excellence
- Create an inviting and positive shopping environment for customers.
- Foster a customer-centric culture by setting high standards for service.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
Merchandising and inventory control
- Oversee merchandising activities to maintain an attractive and organized store layout.
- Implement inventory control measures to optimise stock levels and stock turnovers.
- Ensure accurate and timely replenishment of merchandise.
Operational efficiency
- Develop and implement efficient operational processes and procedures.
- Monitor and manage staffing levels, scheduling, and payroll to meet business needs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Budgeting and cost control
- Prepare and manage the store budget, controlling expenses and maximising profitability.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.
What you'll bring to the table
- Previous experience as a Store Manager, preferably in a similar retail environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving results.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
