Care Guide – Linen
Take care of your linen garments, and they will take care of you.
When designing all of our garments, our focus lies in making sure it lasts over time, both in style and quality. To make this possible, it's important to take care of your garments. This way, they will take care of you. Linen is one of our favorite fabrics. It's breathable, durable and effortless. To make sure your linen garments lasts over time, it should be washed at no more than 30°C and not tumble-dried. You may gently stretch and reshape the linen garment when it is damp. To avoid wrinkles, linen garments should be hung. Use a cool iron in case of wrinkles. The texture will get rather stiff after washing. However, the material will soften up again when used.
1. Wash at no more than 30°C: Linen is a delicate fabric, so it's best to wash it in cool water to prevent shrinkage and damage to the fibers. 2. Use a gentle detergent: Choose a mild detergent that's specifically designed for delicate fabrics. Avoid using bleach or fabric softener, as these can damage the fabric. 3. Hang dry: Linen is prone to wrinkling, but you can prevent this by hanging your garments to dry. Avoid using the dryer, as this can cause shrinkage and damage to the fibers. 4. Use a cool iron: If your linen garment does become wrinkled, iron it on a medium setting while it's still slightly damp. This will help to smooth out any wrinkles without damaging the fabric. 5. Pre-treat tough stains: If your linen garment gets stained, pre-treat the stain with a stain remover before washing it. Be sure to follow the instructions on the stain remover carefully.
