Coming soon: Deadwood for A Day's March

From the heart of Stockholm, two neighbours and long-time friends, Deadwood and A Day’s March, come together to release a limited-edition unisex capsule collection made from leather and suede.

This collaboration celebrates a shared vision of timeless design, sustainability, and craftsmanship. Crafted from premium deadstock leather and suede, each piece in the collection combines classic silhouettes with a dedication to responsible practices. At A Day’s March, we’ve always believed that clothing should be more than just something you wear—it should be well-crafted, thoughtfully designed, and built to last. For the past several months, we’ve been working closely with our friends at Deadwood to create a collection that brings together our shared values of quality and sustainability. At the heart of this collaboration is a simple but ambitious goal: to craft the best suede overshirt and leather jacket we possibly can. This project started with a mutual appreciation for each other’s work and both brands focus on creating timeless pieces. We wanted to take two classic pieces and refine them, paying attention to every detail while staying true to our commitment to long-lasting quality. That meant an iterative process, where every stitch, seam, and cut was reconsidered multiple times.

For the suede overshirt, our focus has been on finding the right balance between softness and durability. Working with upcycled suede adds an extra layer of complexity – it’s a beautiful material with unique characteristics, but it also demands careful handling to ensure it holds up over time. Throughout the process, we’ve fine-tuned the fit, adjusted the weight, and worked on the details to make it feel effortless yet refined. Our aim has been to create a versatile overshirt that works year-round – equally suited for layering on cool evenings as it is for wearing on its own. Our leather jacket, inspired by classic flight uniforms, has been another labor of love. At A Day’s March, we value the precision of well-executed details – such as perfectly cut seams and a thoughtfully engineered fit. Every stage of production, from selecting the upcycled leather to the final finishing touches, has been a journey of discovery. Working closely with Deadwood’s skilled designers, we ensured that every element, from reinforced shoulders to the exact contours at the waist and our favorite part – the leather rib and hem – contributes to a jacket that not only looks sharp but also promises enduring quality. This is a piece designed to age gracefully, developing a unique character with time.

Collection launches on March 14. Early access for subscribers on March 11.

More than anything, this collection has been about the process – a back-and-forth where we’ve pushed each other to refine, rethink, and improve. Working with Deadwood has been inspiring in many ways, not least in seeing their dedication to upcycling and responsible production. This collaboration has been about more than just making great garments – it’s been an opportunity to challenge ourselves and make something that we truly stand behind. With the launch just a few weeks away, we’re excited to share the results of this journey. We’ve put in the work to create something we believe in – pieces that will stand the test of time, in both style and quality. The capsule collection will be launched on March 14. Early access for newsletter subscribers from March 11.
